ADAMANT X is a fireclay-silica based material with a maximum recommended service temperature of 2800°F. It is shipped as a wet, ready to use mortar and will stay in suspension over long periods of time. ADAMANT X is the original wet air setting cement for bonding intermediate, high heat and super duty fireclay brick. Produced since 1907, ADAMANT X was one of the first bonding mortars introduced to industry that truly bonded brick together. Through the years, the ADAMANT X trademark has stood for quality and has been widely accepted by refractory consumers.
