Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU)
Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) is a secondary process for lighting the heavy oil. Typical FCC units have run times the long term of five or six years which puts even more emphasis on refractory planning and installation. From installation, controlling the rate of temperature change, and minimizing rapid fluctuations are critical. This will extend the life of the FCC refractory.
The fluid catalytic cracker, or cat unit, is made up of six major sections. This includes the reactor & regenerator, transfer lines, internal cyclones, slide valves, overhead lines, and the distribution rig/grid. Resco refractory solutions provide reduced downtime/costs, improved energy & production efficiency, high abrasion, corrosion and thermal shock resistance, thermal reliability, and insulation.
Our Resco specialists have knowledge on FCCU refractories and skilled engineering teams. Resco evaluates and provides innovative custom solutions to help increase your productivity. Contact us today.
